We are looking for a Cloud Engineer/Architect in Singapore for one of our banking clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and implement cloud solutions with product owners and ITGP architects.
• Develop and document proof of concepts for cloud services and architectures.
• Facilitate cloud adoption by coordinating with Technical Architects, ToolChain, and Infrastructure teams.
• Ensure cloud designs align with architecture roadmaps, standards, and production stability.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation.
• Contribute to architecture framework development and impact analysis for business needs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prototypes for new IT solutions.
• Draft and update operational procedures and guidelines.
• Analyze technology environments, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Total of 7+ years of IT experience
• Hands on experience in architecting and deploying solutions on IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS or GCP
• Experience building & deploying highly available and low latency systems as service-oriented architecture, event driven architecture using Spring Boot, Python, Redis and Kafka
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration solutions (eg. Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Helm
• Understanding and using Continuous Integration (CI/CD) systems (eg. Jenkins, Gitlab CI, ArgoCD) and networking concepts
• Experience in managing high availability (eg. Keepalived, ALB, Elastic IP, DNS Load Balancer)
