We are seeking a Listed Derivatives IT Business Analsyst/Project Manager for a Global Derivatives Execution platform. The successful candidate will look to communicate to the business to define requirements, and be responsible for end-to-end technical delivery of the requirement. The role will require in-depth knowledge of Listed Derivatives front to back flows (i.e. both pre-trade & post-trade).
Responsibilities
- Project Management: project planning, tracking & coordination to ensure timely delivery of project
- Identify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestones
- Lead meetings with Business and IT partners to communicate status & raise risks
- Business analysis: process/application analysis & design for Listed Derivatives pre-trade flows
- Business analysis: process/application analysis & design for Listed Derivatives post-trade flows
- Writing functional/technical specifications & designing testing strategies across pre & post trade flows
- Performing SIT, managing QA Test Scripts and UAT
- Drive the Change Management process when functionality is ready to be promoted to production
- Working closely with regional product teams to understand the strategic direction of the product offering and working to develop timelines
- Coordinate the technical (FIX) onboarding of Electronic Trading clients within the region (includes clients, vendors, internal FIX onboarding team)
- SL3 production support & troubleshooting of software and networking issue
Requirements
- At least 5 years working experience in Financial Industry with relevant exposure to Listed Derivatives on APAC Markets ('Agency' Listed Derivatives trading business knowledge is preferred)
- Knowledge of Asia exchange connectivity and market structure (must have)
- Knowledgeable of OMS/EMS functionalities and corresponding order execution work-flows
- Knowledge of front office trade life cycle (must have)
- Knowledge of middle and back office workflows (must have)
- Strong knowledgeable of FIX Protocol is (must have)
- Basic knowledge of physical networking concepts and troubleshooting (must have)
- Experience of SQL, & reading and configuring XML files (must have)
- Experience using Bloomberg terminal (plus)
- Experience working with Fidessa & ULLINK. (plus)
