We are seeking an Senior Infrastructure/System Engineer to join and support our client's team in HK. This role is responsible for supporting projects/ services, ensure that the team’s services are delivered on time and aligned to agreed SLAs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production security projects.
• Resolve or coordinate the resolution of issues with other internal teams globally and/or with the vendor
• Communicate and provide status updates on issues to business users, management team and other stakeholders.
• Ensure issues are reported, tracked, followed up in a timely manner.
• Support Disaster Recovery Test, Live-play and Business Continuity activities
• Ensuring appropriate escalation to management and/or permanent control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
• Contribute for implementing audit recommendations as per the agreed timeline.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7.x/8.x/9.x) and Ubuntu (16.x/18.x/20.x/22.x).
• Experience with in-place upgrades and troubleshooting failures.
• Proficient in Veritas and OpenSVC for daily operations and project setup.
• Strong skills in Ansible playbook coding, application, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Low Latency/Electronic Trading Networks (preferred).
• Willing to work weekends and be on-call for incidents outside office hours.
• Hands-on, service-oriented, with a strong customer focus and “can-do” attitude.
• Experienced in Change Management and executing production changes (preferred).
• Familiar with Ansible Tower, Centrify, Veritas, BMC, VSAN, iSCSI, DAS, NAS, SAN storage technologies (preferred).
• Skilled in PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages (preferred).
