Job description

• Support managing the Data Landscape Project from planning, execution, delivery, and operation by proactively leading the part for Japan and expanding the project to other APAC countries.
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current data landscape, identifying data sources, systems, and processes across different departments in Japan.
• Define and document the data landscape data sources and data flows, operation process and governance principles.
• Actively participate leading the implementation of data integration to the platform for data landscape.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments to gather information on the use of data assets.
• Work closely with the stakeholders - business, data foundation leads, data engineers, and IT - and communicate project progress, challenge, and solutions effectively to all stakeholders.
• Establish data quality standards and implement data quality monitoring and improvement processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and up-to-date information.
• Oversee the data life cycle, ensuring appropriate systems and processes are in place to effectively manage the creation, curation, security, and retention of data assets. Ensure use of data is compliant with all relevant legislation.
• Incorporate the Data Acquisition Project into the Data Landscape Project, and actively participate in both projects as a key contributor.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, information systems, computer science or equivalent degrees.
• Proficiency in Business English is required.
• Experience in data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, and/or designing and implementing functional systems and data in a structured process preferred

• Strong proficiency in data analytics tools or data management software

  • Master Data Management: Pimcore
  • Data visualization: Power BI, Tableau
  • Data modelling: SQL (required), Dataiku

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
